Before: Tired and Overgrown
The original landscape consisted of outdated greenery and dense overgrowth, hiding the beauty of the home’s architecture. Common hedges and underperforming shrubs made the space look tired, while areas around the mailbox and entry path lacked any defined design or welcoming color.
The Vision: Clean, Contemporary, and Colorful
Our team worked closely with the homeowners to design a landscape that would enhance the home’s exterior with a modern, polished look—using clean lines, pops of color, and an emphasis on layered textures. The result? A complete front yard transformation that is both visually impactful and easy to maintain.
Installation Highlights
Front Beds: We removed the overgrown hedges and replaced them with a manicured arrangement of podocarpus, boxwoods, topiary, and flowering border plants. The bed was dressed in crisp white marble rock to create sharp contrast and highlight the fresh greens.
Palm Island Reimagined: One of the standout changes was relocating an existing palm tree from the open yard and replanting it inside a reshaped landscape bed. This move not only added structure and symmetry to the design but also created a tropical focal point framed by vibrant crotons, foxtail fern, and a bold accent boulder. The new bed layout softens the architecture and enhances the palm’s presence as a visual anchor.
Mailbox Accent Bed: We gave the often-overlooked mailbox a major upgrade with a tidy planting area of red flowering annuals and a crisp white stone bed for instant pop.
Modern Touches: Oversized white urn planters flank the front entrance, planted with bold bird of paradise and purple heart for structure and visual height. These signature pieces anchor the new design and guide the eye toward the entry.
The Final Look: Elegance Meets Ease
From the curb to the front door, the entire landscape now reads like a high-end resort entrance. The contrast of clean hardscaping, architectural plantings, and dramatic accents creates a unified, elevated appearance.
